Comfortable and peaceful environment

Staying at Bunaken Beach Resort means you will enjoy a comfortable and peaceful environment. Most of our bungalows are located around a beautiful tropical garden, while our beach bungalows are located right in front of our private beach with a direct view on the sea.

Various types of accommodation

We can offer our guests various types of accommodation, ranging from air conditioned (available against an extra charge) bungalows to more basic rooms. All of our accommodations have a western style toilet, ceiling fan inside, a private terrace with a hammock and 24 hours electricity and running water.

The resort has 2 beach bungalows, 2 garden bungalows and a big size family bungalow, all equipped with air conditioning and a private bathroom incl. shower and toilet. In addition to the air conditioned bungalows, we also have 1 standard room without air conditioning and for up to 3 persons available.

Restaurant

In our restaurant we serve three meals per day with a choice of different delicious local dishes and on request we can make special arrangements for our guests while hot and cold drinks are available around the clock.

Best time to visit

North Sulawesi has an equatorial climate with a typical rainy season from around November to April while from around April to October rains decrease and temperatures increase. The average minimum temperature is between 20ºC and 24ºC and the average maximum temperature is between 30ºC and 35ºC.

During the rainy season the weather can sometimes be unpredictable with heavy rainfall and strong winds causing rough seas. Although the sea water temperature is between 26ºC and 29ºC throughout the year, during the rainy season the visibility underwater also sometimes decreases due to weather influences.

Although Bunaken National Park can be visited all year round, the weather conditions are generally better from April to October.
